    We’ve added a 'Product' section right below the 'Status' section in the 'Details' drawer. This new section displays critical product details like SKUs, quantity, and weight—everything you need to manage your inventory effectively.

    Product Details: Each product's SKU details, quantity and total weight are neatly displayed.

    Email Notifications: Description: Users will receive email notifications when a new chat message is received. This feature is designed to ensure that users are promptly informed about important communications and updates, even when they are not actively using the application. Functionality:Users can toggle on or off the email notifications for new chat messages directly within the application. This can be managed by navigating to Settings -> Notifications. This enhancement allows users to customize how they receive notifications, enabling them to stay informed according to their preferences.This update aims to enhance user engagement and ensure timely communication by integrating email notifications into the Chatter platform. Users can now stay connected and responsive to critical updates and messages effortlessly.

    Stay Updated with Email Notifications for Chatter:

    Stay in the Loop: You can now receive real-time email notifications for new chatter messages. Never miss a beat in your conversations!

    Easy Activation: Simply visit 'Settings', click on 'Notifications', and switch the email toggle to 'on'. It's that easy to start receiving updates directly to your inbox! Any new chat messages that come in, you will now be informed!

     

     TIP! The email notification toggle is set to 'off' by default to respect your preferences. Turn it on when you're ready to get started!

    Empowered Client Management & Email Domain Controls:

    Take Control: Enhancements to the Client Management interface now empower admin-level users with the ability to add or remove email domains, streamlining the process of managing who can be invited to the platform.

    How to Access: Navigate to the 'Settings' page, select 'Clients' under the management section, and start editing. If you're an admin, you'll find all the tools you need to manage client information right at your fingertips.

    We love a good, clean design! We've re-designed the home view page to include several enhancements and new features, transforming it into a more 'dashboard-like' view.

    In the future, you can expect this dashboard to evolve regularly, providing you with even more valuable insights as we enhance and expand our platform!

    Favicon in Client Profile: The client profile section now includes a favicon, adding Smart Visibility's branding.

    Greeting Header: A new greeting header has been added, personalizing your experience by offering a welcoming touch upon login.

    Summary Cards: Based on your information, summary cards are displayed to provide quick insights and important information at a glance.

    Quick View Toggle: A centrally fixed quick view toggle has been introduced, allowing you to switch views easily and access information more efficiently.

     

    Website Additions

    We have updated the footer of our website's desktop and mobile versions to include links to the 'Website Terms' and 'Software Terms.' This enhancement is designed to improve accessibility and provide users with easy access to important legal information.

    Chatter Overview

    Chat Thread Enhancements - Access to Details:

    The chat thread header has been updated to include a way for you to access details about your order/receipt directly from Chatter!

    You can now open the details drawer by hovering and clicking on the Type_ID, facilitating quick access to more detailed information within the details drawer.

    And you can even return back to the Chatter drawer, if you want! Simply hit the <-- arrow, and you are there!

    Chat Thread Enhancements - Client & Location Details:

    We have also added important information into the header, such as client name and location information. This will be prominently displayed in the header, making this crucial information readily accessible!

    Self-tagging

    When someone self-tags into a chat thread, a message will appear, indicating that they joined the conversation. This ensures clarity for you and others, making it evident that others are now part of the discussion. The message will display as follows:

    Tracking Number in Details Drawer

    The Tracking Number is now prominently displayed in the extra details section of the Details Drawer. This allows users to quickly and easily copy the tracking number for their records or further actions.

    Users can filter data based on alerts in both the Map View and List View. This functionality lets users focus on recent alerts and prioritize their actions accordingly.

    • Select the ‘Alerts' attribute from the Filter dropdown

    • Select the desired time frame for filtering alerts

    UI Enhancements

    Quick Menu Enhancements:

    The quick menu has been re-sized and re-designed to enhance usability and accessibility. With the new design, all menu items are now visible without the need for scrolling!

    Enhancements to Chatter Chat Threads for Deactivated Users:

    Name Display with Indicator: When a user is deactivated, their name will still appear in chat threads as the sender of messages, but now it will include an indicator next to their name to signify their deactivated status.

    Visual Differentiation of Messages: Messages from deactivated users will be visually differentiated to clearly indicate their status. These messages will feature:

    1) Ghosted Text and Outline: Text will appear "ghosted" or faded to signify the message is from a deactivated user.

    2) Default Avatar: A default avatar will be used for deactivated users, replacing any personalized avatar they might have had.

    3) Label Tag: A label tag will clearly identify the sender as a deactivated user.

    Alerts Feature

    We are excited to announce our new 'Alerts' feature! This feature applies to all Smart Visibility users who wish to interact with the Alerts Feature to monitor and manage notifications related to their activities.

     

    Definitions

    Alerts: Notifications for users of important or urgent information that requires attention. Currently, alerts are notes written about Orders or Receipts.

    Alerts Icon: A button that provides quick access to newly populated alerts.

    Alerts Drawer: A running list of all incoming alerts.

    Details Drawer: A drawer within the application where detailed information related to the current type is displayed, including alerts.

    Alerts Historical Log Pop-Out: A feature that allows users to view a chronological log of past alerts, providing context and tracking changes over time for a particular item.

     

    How To's

    1) Access Alerts through the Details Drawer

    • Open the Details Drawer within your current workflow

    • Locate and click on the new section dedicated to ‘alerts' within the drawer. This will be a 'bell’ icon

    • Examine all relevant alerts displayed in the section to stay informed about important notes within the Alerts Historical Log

    2)Access Alerts via Alerts Icon & Drawer

    Locate and select the 'Alerts' Icon to open the Alerts Drawer

    • Examine new alerts as they arrive to take immediate action if necessary

    • Click on an alert to open the Details Drawer and Historical Log

    3) Clear Alerts from the Alerts Drawer

    Alerts can be cleared from the Alerts drawer in the following way:

    Automatic Removal: Alerts associated with a bubble will automatically be removed from the list once the bubble becomes inactive, ensuring that only active and relevant notifications are displayed.

     

    4) Alert Column in List View

    A new 'Alert' column has been integrated into the List View's table, enhancing the functionality and user interaction with the platform. This column allows users to sort alerts based on the timestamp of the event.

    Features and Functionality:

    Timestamp Display: Each alert's timestamp is displayed in the format YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS, providing precise timing information.

    Placeholder for No Timestamp: If no timestamp is available for an alert, a dash (-) will be used as an indicator to maintain clarity and consistency in the table's display.

    Sorting Capabilities: Users can sort the alerts in ascending or descending order. This sorting functionality allows for organization of the alerts from newest to oldest timestamps, or vice versa, placing entries without a timestamp appropriately at the end or beginning of the list.

    A new status section has been added to the details drawer to display status updates in a visually distinct and organized manner. This section enhances the user interface by providing a clear and dedicated area for status updates.

    Exclusive Display for Status Updates: This section is exclusively for showing status updates, ensuring that these updates do not mix with other types of information.

    Timeline Format: Status updates are displayed in a timeline format, which facilitates a natural flow and provides historical context, making it easier to track changes over time.

    Color Coordination: A color scheme is utilized to visually differentiate various status updates, aiding in quick identification and interpretation.

    Order and Organization: The most recent update is displayed at the top, with older updates arranged sequentially below. This ordering helps users quickly see the latest updates without needing to search through older entries.

    Placement in UI: The status section is strategically positioned below the contacts section.

    Error-Handling for Chat Messages

    Error-Handling Message: Users will now encounter an error message if a chat message fails to send. This visual indicator is designed to quickly alert you to the issue, helping to streamline the process of identifying and addressing message-sending errors.

    Interactive Message for Retry: A new interactive feature allows users to hover over and click the error message to retry sending the chat message. This functionality makes re-sending messages more intuitive and less disruptive.

    Successful Send Indicator: Upon successful retry, the chat message will briefly flash and then change to a blue chat bubble, visually confirming the message has been successfully delivered.

     

    Map View Improvements

    Responsive Legend: We have developed a responsive legend that adjusts based on the screen resolution. The legend’s design now adapts in size to accommodate various device screens, enhancing visibility and accessibility across different platforms.

    Map Image: This improvement includes adjusting the map image to ensure that all warehouse locations within the network are visible and unobstructed by the legend.
